OCIDE adapted rapidly to the profound changes from the construction sector during the last several years.
Given its current position, the company can afford to look on the future with optimism, and based on over 30 years of professional experience, it has designed a strategic plan to diversify and consolidate the company at a European level.
Consolidation in geographical areas
OCIDE´s presence is consolidated through its construction branch in the Communities of Madrid, Valencia, Castilla La Mancha, Castilla y León, Extremadura, Andalucía and Aragón y Cataluña due to its geographical diversification policies initiated in 2014.
European Internationalization
OCIDE´s position has strengthened in countries like Romania, Croatia, Moldavia, Poland, Serbia, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Ireland, Slovakia and Greece, and its activity outside Spain is an example of versatility and adaptability. Thanks to the knowledge acquired during the development of the international projects in 2009, the company managed to turn into a reference in the sector, being one of the companies with the biggest growth potential for Eastern Europe, with the support of the delegation from Romania, in order to provide services to the entire geographic area.
Innovation and research
With the assistance of the I+D+r (Innovation+Development+research) department, the company has been designing technological innovation projects in its various fields like transportation and the environment.
Thanks to the collaboration agreements concluded with the Departments of different Universities and technological centres, OCIDE has been developing research projects since 2007 for waste re-use or special construction systems like the bituminous sub-ballast for high speed lines or pipeline rehabilitation by trenchless technique.
At the moment Ocide has introduced the energy optimization and digitalization fields in its innovation strategy.
Betting on the private-public partnerships:
OCIDE participates in projects that take into consideration all the partnership options for financing public infrastructures, from turnkey projects to public service concessions with or without work contribution. The company´s solid solvency, both technical and financial, turns OCIDE into a viable and professional partner for the Public Administration. The company considers the public-private partnerships a key that enables the development of the required social infrastructure in activities like housing, education, health or tourism.
